The Sanzhu Underground Transport Station of the Minzhong Special Committee (District Committee) is a Fujian Provincial Cultural Relics Protection Unit and a classic red tourism destination.

The Sanzhu Underground Transport Station of the Minzhong Special Committee (District Committee) is located in Houzhai Village, Qianhuang Town, Quangang District, Quanzhou City, dating back to 1930.

Description: Established in 1930, the Sanzhu Underground Transport Station was an important transit hub for the Xiamen Central Municipal Committee, the Minzhong Special Committee (District Committee), and even the Provincial Committee of the Min-Zhe-Jiang Border Area and the Fujian Provincial Committee, as well as the Quanzhou Central County Committee; it also served as one of the main transfer stations for regions such as Jin, Nan, Hui, Pu, and Xian, enduring three historical periods: the Agrarian Revolutionary War, the War of Resistance Against Japan, and the War of Liberation. Originally built in 1890 and expanded in 1907, it consists of three adjacent structures. The right and middle sections both feature a traditional three-courtyard layout, with the main hall spanning three bays in width and two in depth, supported by load-bearing walls with exposed rafters and a flush-gable roof; the left section is two bays wide and two bays deep, also with a flush-gable roof.

In 2013, the Sanzhu Underground Transport Station of the Minzhong Special Committee (District Committee) was designated as part of the eighth batch of Provincial Cultural Relics Protection Units by the People's Government of Fujian Province.
