Longhu is located about 3 kilometers southwest of Longhu Town on the western side of Quanwei Road, covering a water surface of approximately 1.6 square kilometers with an average depth of 2.5 meters. It is the largest natural lake in Jinjiang City. Longhu Town derives its name from the lake. It is situated in the southeastern coastal area of Jinjiang City, adjacent to Shishi and the four towns of Shenhu, Jinjing, Yinglin, and Yonghe. It is 6 kilometers from Shenhu, 10 kilometers from the Weitou Ten-Thousand-Ton Terminal, and 20 kilometers from Quanzhou-Jinjiang Airport.
