The Lingyuan Mountain Scenic Area is a national AAA-level tourist attraction.

The Lingyuan Mountain Scenic Area is a national 3A-level tourist attraction. It harmoniously blends natural and cultural landscapes, and preparations are currently underway to upgrade it to a 4A-level attraction. The area features the nearly 1,500-year-old Lingyuan Temple, along with numerous cliff inscriptions of cultural relics. Historically, it was a retreat for many scholars and celebrities throughout the dynasties. The mountain has lush vegetation with a forest coverage rate of 92%, the highest in Jinjiang. The scenic area is expansive, fully equipped, and sees large visitor numbers. Located in the central urban area of Jinjiang, it enjoys convenient transportation. Currently, the China Academy of Urban Planning & Design is working on planning for the National Historic and Cultural Village, while CYTS Group is developing a “Big Tourism+” strategy for the Lingyuan Scenic Area, aiming to establish it as Jinjiang’s tourism distribution hub.

The Lingyuan Mountain range spans four Chinese miles, attracting literati and poets throughout history who left behind numerous cliff inscriptions, enriching the area with a profound cultural atmosphere. The mountain features scenic spots such as Buyun Pass, Wangjiang Stone, the Pagoda of the Stone Mirror Taoist, Yunxiu, Lingquan Shigu Well, Linghu Tian, Qixing Dun, Gongpo Stone, Lion Stone, Frog Worshiping the Moon, and Immortal’s Bed. There are also various elegant pavilions: Sidajie Pavilion, Xuri Pavilion, Wanxia Pavilion, Bazhang Pavilion, Buyun Pavilion, Ciji Pavilion, and the Thousand Buddha Pagoda. From the mountaintop, one can gaze southeast toward the sea and see the entire island of Kinmen, with rolling waves, misty sails, and twinkling lights at night, creating a spectacular view. Additionally, a new 6-kilometer-long slow bicycle lane has been built for visitors to stroll along.

Lingshui Community: Lingshui Community in Lingyuan Subdistrict, Jinjiang City, is the largest community in the subdistrict and one of Jinjiang’s well-known overseas Chinese hometowns. It is located in the southwest of Lingyuan Subdistrict, bordering a provincial-level economic development zone to the east, the 3A-level tourist attraction “Lingyuan Mountain” to the west, the “San Yi Steel Company Factory Area” under Anhai jurisdiction to the south, and the “San Li Locomotive Factory Area” in Jinjiang Economic Development Zone to the north. It is five kilometers from Jinjiang’s administrative center, six kilometers from Anhai Town, and nine kilometers from Shishi City. Quan’an Highway runs through the community, providing well-connected roads.
