The Wudian Architectural Complex is located on Wudian Street in Jinjiang City and dates back to the Ming Dynasty through the Republican Era. Overview: It consists of the Zhuang Family Ancestral Hall, the Cai Family Ancestral Hall, the Former Residence of Zhuang Yongbin, and the North-Facing Grand Mansion in Sanjiao Nei. The Zhuang Family Ancestral Hall was first built in the ninth year of the Jiajing reign during the Ming Dynasty (1530) and has undergone several renovations. Facing north and situated southward, it has two sections in depth, covering a construction area of 925 square meters, with a width of seven bays, a post-and-lintel beam frame, and a flush-gable roof. The Cai Family Ancestral Hall was initially constructed during the Xining years of the Song Dynasty (1068–1077) and has also been repaired multiple times. Facing north and located southward, it comprises a screen wall, stone courtyard, lower section, side corridors, and upper section, with a construction area of 537 square meters. The main hall is five bays wide, built with a brick-stone-wood structure and a flush-gable roof. The Former Residence of Zhuang Yongbin was built in the mid-Ming Dynasty, renovated over time, and features a brick-stone-wood structure, five bays in width, post-and-lintel as well as through-tenon beam frames, and a flush-gable roof. It is a three-section "imperial-style" Southern Fujian red-brick mansion with a left wing. The North-Facing Grand Mansion in Sanjiao Nei was built in 1935, faces north, and includes an outer courtyard, lower section, side rooms, upper section, dressing tower, rear chamber, and western wing. It covers a construction area of 512 square meters and is five bays wide. The architectural complex is a model of traditional architecture in the Quanzhou region and also an important cultural relic related to Taiwan and overseas Chinese.

In 2013, the Wudian Architectural Complex was designated as part of the eighth batch of provincial-level cultural heritage sites by the People’s Government of Fujian Province.
