Lai Cuo Zixiao Temple is a cultural heritage site protected by Jinjiang City.

Lai Cuo Zixiao Temple is located in Lai Cuo Community, Xiyuan Subdistrict. Dating from the Ming Dynasty to the Republican Era, it is categorized as an ancient architectural structure.

Originally built during the Zhengde era of the Ming Dynasty, it enshrines the Dark Heavenly Emperor (Xuan Tian Shang Di) and has undergone renovations across various dynasties. Facing south, the temple currently consists of a three-bay, two-courtyard layout and retains an iron bell and inscribed plaques from the Republican Era. Branch temples of this shrine have been established in Southeast Asia and Taiwan.

On September 8, 2019, Lai Cuo Zixiao Temple was designated as part of the sixth batch of municipal-level cultural heritage protection units in Jinjiang City.

Protected area: East to the surrounding wall, west 2 meters, south 9.5 meters, north to the alley.

Lai Cuo Community: Located in the central area of Xiyuan Subdistrict, Jinjiang City, Lai Cuo Community serves as the seat of the Xiyuan Subdistrict Office. The community consists of 16 resident groups, with a total population of 4,251, including over 90 Party members. Shuanglong Road and Linglai Road run through the village, providing convenient transportation.
