Cai Jiajiao Residence in Xixiliao is a cultural heritage site protected by Jinjiang City.

Cai Jiajiao Residence in Xixiliao is located at No. 62, North Area, Xixiliao Village, Anhai Town. Dating back to the Qing Dynasty, it is classified as an ancient architectural structure.

The Cai family were overseas Chinese who had emigrated to the Philippines. This residence was built in the late Qing Dynasty, faces south, and is a five-bay, two-courtyard main house with a wing on the left. It features a stone-paved courtyard and a screen wall at the front. The stone carvings, wood carvings, and clay sculptures adorning the building are exquisitely crafted.

On September 8, 2019, Cai Jiajiao Residence in Xixiliao was designated as part of the sixth batch of municipal-level cultural heritage protection units in Jinjiang City.

Protected area: 2 meters east, 3 meters west, extending to the surrounding wall to the south, and 3 meters north.

Xixiliao Village: During the Ming and Qing dynasties, it belonged to Qidu. In 1944 (the 33rd year of the Republic of China), it was part of Shan Zhuang Bao under Qinmin Township. After the founding of the People’s Republic of China, in 1956, it came under Ren Shou Township in Neikeng District; in 1961, it was part of the Ren Shou Brigade under Anhai Commune; in 1980, it split off to become the independent Xixiliao Brigade; in 1984, it belonged to Anhai Township; and in 1985, it was reorganized as Xixiliao Village Committee under Anhai Town.
