Qingmeng Qinglong Temple

Qingmeng Qinglong Temple is a cultural heritage site protected by Jinjiang City.

Qingmeng Qinglong Temple is located at No. 302, East Zone, Qingmeng Village, Chidian Town. Dating back to the Qing Dynasty, it is categorized as an ancient architectural structure.

The original construction date is unknown, but the existing structure was rebuilt during the Qing Dynasty. It faces northwest and is situated southeast, featuring seven bays across three sections. The central hall enshrines the deities Wenyi and Wuwang. The temple has close ties with numerous Twin Loyalty Temples in various parts of Taiwan.

On September 8, 2019, Qingmeng Qinglong Temple was designated as part of the sixth batch of municipal-level cultural heritage protection units in Jinjiang City.

Protected area: 5 meters to the east and south, 18 meters to the west up to the stone pavilion, and up to the surrounding wall to the north.

Qingmeng Village: Qingmeng Village is located at the northwestern tip of Jinjiang City, Fujian Province, about one kilometer south of the “interchange bridge” in Quanzhou’s South Bridge area. It borders Chaita Village to the east, the “Yingbin Road” (formerly a section of the Quanzhou-Xiamen Highway) and Quanzhou’s Licheng Tingdian Subdistrict to the west, the “Quanzhou Economic and Technological Development Zone” to the south, and Quanzhou’s South District “Chifeng Road” to the north. With a superior geographical location and convenient transportation, multiple bus lines from Quanzhou run through the village, and the Jinjiang Jinji water system flows through the settlement.
