Artillery Batteries No. 1-4 are cultural heritage sites protected at the municipal level by Jinjiang City.

Artillery Batteries No. 1-4 are located in Weitou Village, Jinjing Town. Built in 1958, they are classified as modern-era important historical sites and representative architecture.

Artillery Batteries No. 1-4 are important remnants of the August 23rd Artillery Battle, with Battery No. 1 being the combat position used by An Yemin. The four batteries share a largely similar design. The overall layout of the battery area features a trumpet-shaped exterior, with left and right exits inside that connect to tunnels, and channels corresponding to the trumpet-shaped openings that link to the command post and exit points. Near the battery area, there are also facilities such as ammunition storage rooms, shelters, and hidden chambers. The front of the batteries is constructed with granite, topped with poured concrete, and covered with thick soil where dense trees are planted for camouflage.

On September 8, 2019, Artillery Batteries No. 1-4 were designated as part of the sixth batch of municipal-level cultural heritage sites protected by Jinjiang City.

Protected area: an extension of 20 meters in all directions.

Weitou Village: Located at the southernmost tip of Weitou Peninsula on the southeastern coast of China's maritime economic zone in Fujian Province, Weitou covers an area of 3 square kilometers with a coastline stretching 6,500 meters. The village is home to over 10,000 overseas and local compatriots, has a permanent population of more than 4,000, and hosts around 3,000 migrants. It faces the Taiwan Strait to the east and the scenic Weitou Bay to the west. To the south, it lies just 5.6 (or 4.7) nautical miles from Greater Kinmen Island, making it the mainland fishing village closest to Greater Kinmen.
