Qinghua Tian Guan Mansion

Qinghua Tian Guan Mansion is a cultural relic protection unit of Jinjiang City.

Qinghua Tian Guan Mansion is located in the Wudian Market Traditional Block of Qingyang Subdistrict. Dating back to the Ming Dynasty, it is classified as an ancient architectural structure.

Qinghua Tian Guan Mansion was first built in the 11th year of the Jiajing reign of the Ming Dynasty (1532) as the residence of Zhuang Yijun, Vice Minister of the Ministry of Personnel during the Jiajing era. It faces south and has a layout of five bays across three sections, with internal corridors between the central section, side wings, and exterior walls. The structure is built with a traditional post-and-lintel wooden frame and features a flush-gable roof. The east, west, and north exterior walls are constructed with a distinctive "brick-and-stone" pattern. As a traditional large residence from the Ming Dynasty, it holds significant historical, artistic, and scientific value in terms of courtyard site selection, architectural form, and detailed features.

On February 5, 2013, Qinghua Tian Guan Mansion was designated as part of the fifth batch of municipal-level cultural relic protection units in Jinjiang City.

Protected area: bounded by walls on the east, west, and south sides, and by the road on the north side.

Qingyang Subdistrict: Located in the northern part of Jinjiang City, Qingyang Subdistrict borders Chenda Town to the east, Chidian Town to the north, Cizao Town to the west, and Luoshan Subdistrict to the south. The name “Qingyang” comes from its location on the sunny side (yang) of Qingmei Mountain, which lies to the north of the town. The terrain slopes slightly from west to east, featuring relatively flat land predominantly composed of plains, as part of the eastern Jinjiang Plain. The subdistrict covers an area of 29.29 square kilometers, with an urban built-up area of 14.2 square kilometers.
