Caiwu Provincial Administration Office is a cultural heritage site protected by Jinjiang City.

Caiwu Provincial Administration Office is located in Wudianshi Traditional Block, Meiling Subdistrict. Dating back to the Ming Dynasty, it is classified as an ancient architectural site.

Originally built during the Wanli era of the Ming Dynasty, Caiwu Provincial Administration Office served as the official residence of Cai Lijing, a successful imperial examination candidate and Provincial Administration Commissioner of Zhejiang—commonly referred to as the “Provincial Administration Office.” The complex consists of two residential buildings constructed from brick, wood, and stone, each featuring three bays, two courtyards, and paired wing rooms. It has a large stone-paved courtyard at the front and faces south. This building holds significant historical and cultural value for the study of Ming Dynasty official residences.

On February 5, 2013, Caiwu Provincial Administration Office was designated as part of the fifth batch of municipal-level cultural heritage sites protected by Jinjiang City.

Protected area: extends to alleys on the east, west, and north sides, and to the courtyard on the south side.

Meiling Subdistrict: Located in the northern part of Jinjiang City, Meiling Subdistrict borders Chendai Town to the east, neighbors Chidian Town to the north, is bounded by Xiyuan Subdistrict to the west, and connects to Qingyang Subdistrict to the south. The subdistrict gets its name from its location at the junction of Qingmei Mountain and Ling Mountain. The terrain slopes slightly from west to east and is relatively flat, covering an area of approximately 11 square kilometers. It governs 14 communities and 28 natural villages, with a registered population of 31,693 and a non-native floating population of over 20,000. [1] The subdistrict office is headquartered in Guishan.
