The Former Site of the People's Government of Jinjiang County at Guishan is a cultural relic protection unit of Jinjiang City.

The Former Site of the People's Government of Jinjiang County at Guishan is located at Wanda City Plaza in Meiling Subdistrict. Dating back to 1948, it is categorized as an important modern historical site.

Constructed in 1948, the Former Site of the People's Government of Jinjiang County at Guishan was originally the residence of overseas Chinese Zhuang Caichuan from the Philippines. It is a four-story concrete structure facing southwest from the northeast. The main part of the building has a square floor plan with rich variations in form, each floor being distinct. The main entrance on the first floor features a circular porch with external columns, and the door is a semi-circular sliding door with a unique design. Each floor has cantilevered canopies above the doors leading to the balconies, and the balconies themselves are complex in shape and interconnected, creating a rich silhouette effect. The top floor is a large terrace with a small circular pavilion supported by four columns in the center. The canopy designs above the windows are particularly ingenious. The architectural form draws inspiration from the layout of a ship’s cabin, reflecting the influence of modernist architectural thought and differing completely from the traditional architecture of the region during the same period. Zhuang Caichuan once served as the commander-in-chief of the Philippine Democratic Battlefield Blood Dry Group. In 1951, when the seat of Jinjiang County was moved to Qingyang, the People's Government of Jinjiang County used his residence as its office. As such, the site is also an important revolutionary relic.

On February 5, 2013, the Former Site of the People's Government of Jinjiang County at Guishan was announced as part of the fifth batch of municipal-level cultural relic protection units in Jinjiang City.

Protected area: extends to open land on the east, west, south, and north sides.

Meiling Subdistrict: Located in the northern part of Jinjiang City, Meiling Subdistrict borders Chendai Town to the east, Chidian Town to the north, Xiyuan Subdistrict to the west, and Qingyang Subdistrict to the south. The subdistrict gets its name from being situated at the junction of Qingmei Mountain and Ling Mountain. The terrain slopes slightly from west to east and is relatively flat, covering an area of approximately 11 square kilometers. It governs 14 communities and 28 natural villages, with a registered population of 31,693 and over 20,000 migrant residents. [1] The subdistrict office is located at Guishan.
