The former Shizhen Chengmei Primary School building is a cultural relic protection unit of Jinjiang City.

The former Shizhen Chengmei Primary School building is located within the Shizhen Overseas Chinese Middle School in Shizhen Village, Jinjing Town. Dating back to the Republican era, it is categorized as an important modern historical site.

The former Shizhen Chengmei Primary School building was donated in 1924 by overseas Chinese brothers Li Zhaobei and Li Zhaoyi from the Philippines. It faces south and is built with a brick, stone, and timber structure, featuring a single-story flat roof covered in tiles. The layout is square-shaped with a brick-and-stone gate wall and stone slab side walls. The gate features three arched entrances, with the central arch topped by a stone plaque inscribed with “Chengmei School.” Above, there is a drying terrace embedded with cut porcelain lettering that reads “Chengmei Primary School of Jinjiang County.” The gate pillars are engraved with a matching couplet: “Achievements always come with hardship; fine timber still relies on bitter refinement.” Below are seven steps leading up. There are both inner and outer cement playgrounds, with classrooms arranged around the inner one. On the west side, an L-shaped wing is connected to the main school building. Li Zhaobei is the father of the renowned overseas Chinese leader Li Qingquan.

On February 5, 2013, the former Shizhen Chengmei Primary School building was designated as part of the fifth batch of municipal-level cultural relic protection units in Jinjiang City.

Shizhen Village: The Shizhen Village Committee is located 4 kilometers southeast of the Jinjing Town government seat. It borders Futian Village to the southwest and faces the sea to the southeast. To the northeast, it neighbors Keren Village of Shenhu Town, with Shizhen Yan Dun Mountain serving as the boundary.
