Hongta Shuixin Pavilion Ferry Dock is a cultural relic protection unit of Jinjiang City.

Hongta Shuixin Pavilion Ferry Dock is located on the west side within the compound of Shuixin Chan Temple in Hongta Community, Anhai Town. It dates back to the Song Dynasty and falls under the category of North-to Road.

Hongta Shuixin Pavilion Ferry Dock was built during the Song Dynasty using granite stone strips, running from north to south. Currently, two sections of stone steps remain. The first section consists of a platform and 11 steps. The second section consists of two levels (upper and lower) of platforms and 6 steps. The sides of both step sections are constructed with interlocking granite strips arranged vertically and horizontally, showcasing a well-thought-out design. The ruins of the Shuixin Pavilion Ferry Dock stand as clear evidence of the glorious history of Anping Port.

On February 5, 2013, Hongta Shuixin Pavilion Ferry Dock was designated as part of the fifth batch of municipal-level cultural relic protection units in Jinjiang City.

Protected area: 2 meters outward to the east and west of the main structure, and south to the wall.

Hongta Community: Hongta Community is located on the western side of Anhai Town, Jinjiang. It borders Xi’an Village to the west, Fuxing Community to the north, Haidong Community to the east, and Anping Development Zone to the south. During the Ming and Qing dynasties, it belonged to Baidu; in 1944 (the 33rd year of the Republic of China), it was part of Qinxin Township’s Hongta Bao. After the founding of the People’s Republic of China, it was called Nanjie in 1950; in 1956, it was part of the Hongta Street Neighborhood Committee of Anhai Town; in 1961, it was incorporated into Anhai Commune; in 1965, it belonged to Anhai Town; in 1970, it was part of the Hongqi Street of Anhai Commune; in 1981, the Hongta Neighborhood Committee was restored within Anhai Town.
