The Purple Star Buddhist Stone Carvings are a cultural relic protection unit of Jinjiang City.

The Purple Star Buddhist Stone Carvings are located in Dingxiyuan Natural Village, Zixing Village, Zimao Town. Dating back to the Ming Dynasty, they fall under the category of cave temples and stone carvings.

The Purple Star Buddhist Stone Carvings were created in the eighth year of the Yongle era of the Ming Dynasty (1410 AD), oriented northwest to southeast. In the center, the inscription “Amitabha Buddha” is vertically carved, flanked by multiple rows of text in regular script, totaling 211 characters. These carvings hold significant importance for the study of Buddhist culture in southern Fujian.

On February 5, 2013, the Purple Star Buddhist Stone Carvings were announced as part of the fifth batch of municipal-level cultural relic protection units in Jinjiang City.

Protected area: 10 meters outward to the east, west, and south of the main body, and 3 meters outward to the north.
