The Historical Memorial Hall of the CPC Quanzhou Central County Committee is a classic red tourism destination and a patriotic education base.

The Historical Memorial Hall of the CPC Quanzhou Central County Committee is located in Wufeng Park, Neikeng Town, Jinjiang, Quanzhou.

In January 1927, the CPC Quanzhou Special Branch was established, marking the beginning of a new chapter in Quanzhou’s modern revolutionary history. Later, the CPC Jin-Nan Working Committee and the CPC Quanzhou Central County Committee carried the revolutionary torch, spreading the flames of revolution across the foothills of the Daiyun Mountains and along both banks of the Jin River, forging the historic legacy of the “Unfurled Red Flag.” To comprehensively and multi-dimensionally reflect the heroic deeds and moving stories of struggle written by revolutionary predecessors with their blood and even lives during the war-torn years since the establishment of the CPC Quanzhou Central County Committee, the Historical Memorial Hall of the CPC Quanzhou Central County Committee was completed in December 2007 in Wufeng Park, Neikeng Town, under the leadership of the CPC Jinjiang Municipal Committee and Municipal Government, and with the support of relevant departments at all levels, as well as people from all walks of life.

The exhibition area of the Historical Memorial Hall of the CPC Quanzhou Central County Committee covers more than 1,000 square meters and features various display methods including reliefs, multimedia, photographs, and physical exhibits. It is divided into three exhibition zones and consists of fourteen chapters: “The Founding of the CPC in Quanzhou and the Workers’ and Peasants’ Movement,” “The Entry of the Fourth Red Army into Fujian and the Rise of Armed Struggle,” “The Establishment of the CPC Quanzhou Central County Committee,” “Organizing Millions of Overseas Chinese with One Heart for National Revival,” “Sparking the Climax of the Anti-Japanese Salvation Movement,” “Concealing Strength and Striving for Self-Defense Against Reactionaries,” “Opening Routes and Advancing into Xiamen, Zhangzhou, and Quanzhou,” “Attacking Anhai and Blood Staining the Daiyun Mountains,” “Opposing the ‘Three Levies’ and ‘Rural Pacification,’” “The Quanzhou Prison Break that Shook Fujian,” “Establishment—Subversion and Uprising,” “Reorganization of the Quanzhou Units,” “Dismantling the Grassroots Regime of the Kuomintang,” and “Cooperating with the Main Forces to Liberate Quanzhou.” The hall houses over 320 photographs and nearly 200 (180) physical artifacts.

In June 2008, the Historical Memorial Hall of the CPC Quanzhou Central County Committee was designated as a Jinjiang Municipal Patriotic Education Base by the CPC Jinjiang Municipal Committee and Municipal People’s Government. In September 2009, it was announced as a Fujian Provincial Party History Education Base by the Party History Research Office of the CPC Fujian Provincial Committee.
