The former site of the expanded cadre meeting of the Central Quanzhou County Committee of the CPC —— Former Residence of Hong Zuzheng is a classic red tourism attraction.

The former site of the expanded cadre meeting of the Central Quanzhou County Committee of the CPC, namely the former residence of Hong Zuzheng, is located at No. 3 Lugou Road, Pudingliao Village, Yinglin Town, Jinjiang City.

On January 12, 1947, the CPC Min-Zhe-Jian Regional Committee issued the "Decision on Launching a Patriotic Guerrilla War." Subsequently, patriotic guerrilla wars were launched across various regions of the province. On August 28 of the same year, the Regional Committee reviewed the lessons learned from the setbacks in guerrilla warfare efforts across different areas and issued the "Instructions on the Characteristics of the People’s Struggle and the Guerrilla War in the Min-Zhe-Jian Region."

From November 1947 to January 1948, the Central Quanzhou County Committee of the CPC held an expanded cadre meeting at the former residence of Hong Zuzheng in Pudingliao Village, Yinglin Town. The meeting focused on studying Liu Shaoqi’s "Report on Amending the Party Constitution" delivered at the Seventh National Congress, with Huang Guozhang conveying the spirit of the Provincial Committee’s "August 28" directive. Xu Jiming, Zhu Yibin, and Zheng Zhongzhi respectively summarized the work and experiences of the Quanzhou Central County Committee in areas such as "armed struggle," "establishing hidden bases," and "Party construction." During the meeting, work regions were re-divided and specific responsibilities assigned. It was also decided that the Coastal District Committee of the CPC would be placed under the direct leadership of the Central Fujian Committee and renamed the Yunhuo District Committee, overseen by Zhu Zenghua, a member of the Central Fujian Committee.

The former residence of Hong Zuzheng is a Fujian-style residential building constructed with brick and stone, featuring five bays and two wing rooms. It is 18.11 meters wide and 12.5 meters deep, covering an area of approximately 230 square meters.
