Former Site of the Xiarushan Grain Storage Depot

The Former Site of the Xiarushan Grain Storage Depot is a classic red tourism attraction.

The Former Site of the Xiarushan Grain Storage Depot is located in Xiarushan Natural Village, Aodong Village, Baisha Town, Hanjiang District, Putian City.

In 1929, the CPC Putian County Committee decided to strengthen the construction of the workers' and peasants' armed forces, expand military strength, carry out armed struggle, and implement land reform. To meet the growing needs of the guerrilla forces, in 1930, the guerrillas secretly established a grain storage depot in Xiarushan, Aodong Village, near their base, to provide logistical support for the Red Army’s revolutionary activities.

The Former Site of the Xiarushan Grain Storage Depot is a two-story earthen and wooden structure. Due to years of disrepair, most of the buildings have collapsed, leaving only six rooms that now cover an area of 650 square meters.
