Former Site of the Banxi Liaison Station at Shangyuan

The former site of the Shangyuan Banxi Liaison Station is a classic red tourism attraction.

The former site of the Banxi Liaison Station is located in Banxi Natural Village, Shangyuan Village, Zhuangbian Town, Hanjiang District, Putian City.

In 1947, Huang Guozhang, Lin Runan, and Rao Yunshan frequently operated in Shangyuan Village and established an underground liaison station at the home of Qiu Yuanpan in Banxi. Qiu Yuanpan served as the liaison officer and actively participated in underground revolutionary activities.

The former site of the Shangyuan Banxi Liaison Station is an ordinary residential house at the foot of Wangjiang Mountain in Zhuangbian. It is a single-story building with an earth-and-wood structure, covering a floor area of 20 square meters. The house has long been unoccupied and is now in a state of disrepair.
