Panjiacun Xigang Site

The Panjiacun Xigang Site is a cultural heritage protection unit of Fengyang County.

The Panjiacun Xigang Site is located in Banqiao Town, Fengyang County, dating back to the Qin and Han dynasties. It is classified as an ancient site, covering an area of 300,000 square meters. It is among the second batch of cultural heritage protection units in Fengyang County, with the announcement document number Fengzheng [2016] No. 6.

Protected Area: Extends 50 meters east and west, and 20 meters south and north from the edges of the site area.

Construction Control Zone: Extends 100 meters east and west beyond the protected area; extends south to the Beijing–Shanghai Railway; extends north to Xiaodongguan New Village.

Banqiao Town: Located approximately 14 kilometers northeast of Fengyang County, Banqiao Town governs 15 administrative villages and 3 community committees, with a total population of 65,000, including 19,000 in the built-up area. The town covers an area of 146 square kilometers, including 2 square kilometers of urban built-up area and 100,000 mu of arable land. There are 3 middle schools, 18 primary schools, and 14 kindergartens within the jurisdiction. Banqiao Town Central Health Center is a first-class A township central health center, with two branch clinics at Banqiao Station and Erpu, as well as 18 village-level health stations.
