Travel Fair ITF / Huangshan Also Features Fengyang Flower Drum — Anhui Brings Its Ink Wash World to Taiwan

The Taipei Cross-Strait Travel Fair, held from November 6 to 9, is a major annual event for tourism exchanges between the two sides of the Taiwan Strait. Anhui, which is on track to evolve from a major tourism province to a strong one, specially set up a booth in Taiwan this time. It adopted traditional Huizhou architectural elements as its design theme and showcased representative elements such as ink wash paintings and Fengyang Flower Drum on-site, allowing Taiwanese visitors to feel as if they had entered an ink wash landscape painting world while also obtaining the latest travel information.

Anhui offers different charms throughout the year. Winter travel in Anhui also allows visitors to enjoy highlights such as snow scenery and rime ice. In addition to the famous Huangshan, places like Huainan and Anqing are also worth visiting. The Anhui Tourism Administration has strengthened the development of Anhui tourism through four major aspects: happy tourism, beautiful tourism, smart tourism, and credit tourism, and has invested 500 billion RMB to promote 3,000 key project constructions. Huang Bin, head of the Anqing City Tourism Administration in Anhui Province, said that Tianzhu Mountain is a 5A-level scenic spot and also a UNESCO Global Geopark, suitable for Taiwanese travelers to visit.

In addition, activities such as the New Year’s Eve bell ringing and blessing at Jiuhua Mountain in Chizhou, as well as New Year’s wish-making during the Spring Festival, tasting refined tofu banquets in Huainan, and DIY experiences with Xuan paper in Xuancheng are all travel highlights full of Anhui characteristics. EVA Air Travel also stated that special on-site discounts are available during the travel fair, with a maximum instant discount of 2,000 RMB per person to enjoy the winter snow and hot springs in Huangshan.
