Xuji Xu Family Ancestral Hall is a cultural relic protection unit of Anhui Province.

Xuji Xu Family Ancestral Hall, also known as Hengshan Hall, was built in the 25th year of the Jiaqing reign during the Qing Dynasty (1820). It consists of a gatehouse, main hall, and wing rooms on both sides forming a courtyard complex. The structure spans 18.6 meters from east to west and 29.5 meters from north to south, representing a Qing Dynasty–style ancestral hall architecture. The gatehouse features a single-eave hip-and-gable roof, and the eastern wall of the gatehouse is inlaid with a stone stele engraved with the “Xu Family Ancestral Hall Stele Inscription” written in the 25th year of the Jiaqing reign (1820), documenting the construction process of the ancestral hall. The main hall has five rooms, with the central room facing south and built as a single-eave, three-bay hip-and-gable structure. There is one wing room on each side of the main hall. A plaque inscribed with “Hengshan Hall” hangs above the main hall. The east and west wing rooms are also single-eave, three-bay hip-and-gable structures. The Xu family ancestral burial ground is located less than two kilometers southwest of the ancestral hall. It has been renovated during the Republican era and now features two steles re-erected at that time.

Xuji Village: Xuji Village is located 8 kilometers west of Huaibei City and 0.5 kilometers south of Provincial Highway 101. It neighbors Zhonglou Village to the west and north, and borders Youfang Village to the east. A wide road from Zhonglou to Liuzhuang No. 1 Mine runs through the village, giving it a strategic location. Currently, Xuji Village has one Party branch, seven Party groups, including 91 official Party members. It governs three natural villages and 13 villager groups, with a total of 966 households, a population of 3,864, covering an area of 7,868 mu, of which over 4,859 mu are arable land, and more than 65% of the area is irrigable. … Xuji Village detailed information++
