Altai Ranch is a cultural tourism attraction.

Located within Guan'gang Forest Park in the northeastern part of Dagang District, Tianjin, adjacent to Jinnan District to the north and bordering Tanggu District to the east, Altai Ranch spans a total area of 21.4 square kilometers, making it the largest forested wetland reserve in Tianjin.

"Altai Ranch" aims to promote and advocate equestrian sports. Through this beneficial and noble activity, it helps reduce the fear of horses among those interested in horseback riding. Riders can gain a deeper understanding of horse temperament. The ranch has specially hired equestrian coaches from Xinjiang to enable beginners to enjoy horseback riding in the shortest time possible. Visitors can also purchase their favorite horses and experience the joy of horse ownership.

The ranch stretches 5.4 kilometers from east to west and 5 kilometers from north to south. It includes a lake area of 5.56 square kilometers, land area of 15.84 square kilometers, forest landscape of 6.7 square kilometers, reed marshes and ecological bird sanctuary of 2.4 square kilometers, and an 8.8-kilometer scenic river shaded by green trees. The park has 7.7 square kilometers of cultivated land, with over one million trees planted, including ash and locust trees, 250,000 honeylocust mounds, and more than one million various tree seedlings cultivated. A 0.2-square-kilometer orchard has been established, with over 50,000 fruit trees planted, including peach and apple trees.

The unique climate and long history have created special natural and cultural landscapes here: vast forests, expansive grasslands, and clear lakes. "Altai" is home to hundreds of fine horses, while the wild forest area is inhabited by wildlife. For those seeking adventure, there is a paintball arena. Staff members from the Uyghur, Kazakh, and Korean ethnic groups live here long-term, fostering a rich blend of ethnic cultures and vibrant local traditions. Notable attractions include: the Outdoor Riders’ Paradise, paintball battles, adventures through the green cornfields, the serene Fishing Lake, as well as racetracks built for car enthusiasts, allowing visitors to fully enjoy off-road thrills, along with fun four-wheel dune buggies and live-fire shooting.

The ranch also offers paintball (a popular sport involving human combat using paintballs), ATV rides, and rifle shooting.

Currently, the ranch has over 70 high-quality horses of domestic and international breeds, aged between 1 and 10 years, all managed by professionally trained personnel specially hired from Xinjiang. The ranch features comfortable rest areas, a restaurant, and a dance hall, making it an ideal destination for vacation and leisure.

Activities include: horseback riding, speedboats, paintball, rifle shooting, ATV rides, sports, and leisure.
