National Camping Industry Field Conference: Cross-sector Collaboration for Win-Win Cooperation

On the afternoon of August 16, the National Camping Industry Field Conference was successfully held in Binhai New Area, Tianjin. As one of the key events of the 6th Automobile (RV) Camping Congress, this field conference, themed "Cross-sector, Empowerment, and Cooperation," invited representatives from local governments and relevant authorities in sports, tourism, and other related sectors, outstanding representatives from various industries such as tourism, education, and technology, as well as experts and scholars from different fields, to jointly explore in depth the future trends of cross-sector integration and development and industrial upgrading of automobile self-drive sports camps.

More than 400 leaders, guests, and industry representatives attended the event, including Mr. Zhan Guojun, Party Committee Secretary and Chairman of the China Motor Sports Federation; Ms. Li Kemin, Party Committee Secretary and Director of the Tianjin Municipal Sports Bureau; Mr. Liang Chenzao, Deputy District Chief of Tianjin Binhai New Area People's Government; Ms. Lin Jie, Vice Chairwoman of the China Motor Sports Federation; Mr. Chen Ming, Second-Level Inspector of the Tianjin Municipal Sports Bureau; Mr. Yang Haibin, Deputy Director of the Beijing Municipal Sports Bureau; Mr. Zhen Guodong, Deputy Director of the Anhui Provincial Sports Bureau; Mr. Wang YanKui, Deputy Director of the Shandong Provincial Sports Bureau; Mr. Yang Guishan, Deputy Director of the Chongqing Municipal Sports Bureau; Mr. Mou Yong, Deputy Director of the Guizhou Provincial Sports Bureau; Mr. Ma Chaolong, President of Bank of China Tianjin Branch; and Ms. Sun Huimin, Vice President of Bank of China Tianjin Branch.

This field conference specially invited Professor Huang Haiyan, Secretary-General of the Yangtze River Delta Sports Industry Collaboration Association, to deliver a keynote speech titled “New Opportunities for the Development of Automobile Self-drive Sports Camps Brought by the Integration of the Yangtze River Delta Sports Industry.” The speech shared the significant opportunities and development directions for the construction of automobile self-drive sports camps within the process of integrating the Yangtze River Delta sports industry. In addition, some specially invited industry guests focused on promoting high-quality projects such as star-rated camps, new RV R&D and rental/sales models, camp motorcycling sports, and smart RV camps, sharing valuable experiences in camp planning and design, operational expertise, camp equipment, and the development of related internet service platforms.

The China Motor Sports Federation has long encouraged the connection between natural scenic area resources and automobile self-drive sports camps to form distinctive self-drive routes that drive related economic development and support regional poverty alleviation efforts. During the conference, the launch ceremony for the “2019 Premium Self-drive Sports Tour Routes” was held, releasing 30 premium self-drive sports tour routes collected and evaluated nationwide, all themed around “leisure sports.”

The conference venue also featured an exhibition area showcasing the achievements of camp construction. Using 3D holographic technology, it innovatively displayed the content of high-quality star-rated camps nationwide and the construction achievements of national automobile self-drive sports camps, painting a trajectory of growth for the automobile self-drive sports camp industry for attending guests and corporate representatives, and presenting a vibrant and innovative blueprint for the development of the automobile self-drive camp industry.

During the signing ceremony for key national camping industry projects at the conference, 15 projects were signed on-site with a total investment exceeding 6.66 billion yuan, demonstrating the strong growth momentum of the automobile (RV) camping industry.To effectively help local governments, camping-related enterprises, and investment and financing institutions connect resources, the conference set up a matchmaking area. Through free negotiation sessions, it provided an excellent platform for dialogue and exchange among industry stakeholders, further boosting investment promotion for key camping-related projects across regions and supporting the scaled-up growth of the camping economy.
