Tianjin Dongli Lake
Tianjin Dongli Lake is a National Water Conservancy Scenic Area.
Introduction: Dongli Lake is one of the eight major tourist attractions and seven nature reserves in Tianjin. It has been designated by the municipal government as a tourist and holiday resort area in the Binhai New Area. Located in the eastern part of Tianjin, it is 24 kilometers from the city center, 30 kilometers from Tianjin Port, 19 kilometers from the Tianjin Economic-Technological Development Area, 10 kilometers from the exit of the Beijing-Tianjin-Tanggu Expressway, 12.5 kilometers from Tianjin Binhai International Airport, and 7.5 kilometers from the Tianjin International Golf Club. Roads such as Jinhan, Dongjin, Yangbei, and Jinbei all lead to the lake. The lake is abundant in over 20 types of aquatic products, including whitebait, pike-perch, crucian carp, soft-shelled turtle, river crab, and shrimp. Every year, more than 20,000 wild birds play and breed around the lake. The area is rich in geothermal resources, which are the source of China's northern geothermal belt. Currently, these resources are used to support a pollution-free vegetable and fruit base, a special aquaculture base, and a mineral water factory producing 5,000 tons of "Di Yuan" brand mineral water annually.
In addition to providing heating and supporting services such as hot spring baths for existing hotels, the geothermal resources also offer ample supply for future development. There are also four hotels with a total area of 33,000 square meters, offering mid- to high-end guest rooms, conference rooms of various sizes, karaoke halls, saunas, swimming pools, bowling alleys, chess and card rooms, and other recreational facilities, accommodating up to 600 guests at a time. A parking lot covering 7,600 square meters can accommodate over 400 large, medium, and small buses. Currently available activities include parasailing, a series of water cable bridges, luxury yachts, speedboats, motorboats, bumper boats, remote-controlled boats, sailboats, pedal boats, and rowboats. Facilities also include a sandy swimming beach, a hot spring swimming pool, a massage pool, a four-slide water slide, and the Turtle Pavilion. In winter, activities such as ice sailing, ice carts, sledding, ice rafts, ice slides, ice skating, and winter fishing are offered. Dongli Lake is set to become a comprehensive tourist destination integrating leisure holidays, hot spring entertainment, gourmet dining and shopping, conferences and training, business exchanges, health retreats, and fitness.
