On April 22, 2015, the launch ceremony of the 2015 Dongli District Tourism Carnival, jointly organized by the Dongli District Tourism Bureau, Tianjin Rural Broadcasting, and Tianjin District & County Alliance Broadcasting, kicked off at the Performance Center of Tianjin Happy Valley Theme Park.
This carnival gathered multiple outstanding scenic spots in Dongli District to create a theme-focused and richly entertaining tourism feast. The event consisted of a series of activities including the Dongli District Tourism Carnival Launch Ceremony, Tianjin Happy Valley International Fashion Culture Festival, Huaming Lingzhi Garden Lingzhi Culture Industry Festival, Dongli Lake Water Carnival, Autumn Harvest Festival, International Magic Festival, Tourism Product Design Competition, and Graffiti Competition, offering visitors new options in entertainment, leisure, wellness, sports, and trend culture.
At the same time, to promote coordinated development in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region and deepen cooperation in related fields, the Dongli District Tourism Bureau, together with the Changping District Tourism Commission of Beijing and the Tangshan City Tourism Bureau of Hebei Province, jointly signed a strategic cooperation agreement on tourism development among the three regions. They also held the “Visit Dongli Theme Parks, Enjoy Tangshan Scenery, and Experience Changping Hot Springs” themed event to facilitate corporate collaboration, resource sharing, and visitor exchange. Through integrated tour routes, more product options and tourism benefits were provided to visitors from all three areas.
