Beitang Ancient Town

-- A newly built ancient town located near the confluence of three rivers at their estuary. It consists of architectural complexes such as Phoenix Street, Gujiu Lane, Guanlan Academy, Shuanglei Square, and traditional Chinese mansions.

-- Although still under construction, most parts of the town are already open to the public, allowing visitors to enjoy sightseeing and exploration.

-- The area mainly features imitation ancient-style architecture, including white marble bridges, grey bricks with black tiles, dougong brackets, and rafter ends, as well as culturally rich shops such as antique stores, calligraphy and painting galleries, and teahouses.

-- If you visit during non-holiday periods, the town is less crowded. You can charter a boat for a sea adventure and enjoy the thrill of fishing, then return to indulge in a delicious seafood feast.

Transportation

Located on Yangbei Street in Binhai New Area, it is accessible by car or public transportation.

1. By Car:

① From Beijing: After exiting the Beijing-Tianjin Expressway, make a left turn after the overpass; approximately a 2-hour drive.

② From Tianjin: Take the Jinbin Expressway toward Tanggu. Turn left onto Huanghai Road in the development zone, continue north along Huanghai Road, and turn left at Rainbow Bridge to arrive. – Traveling toward Tanggu, turn left onto Huanghai Road in the development zone, go straight north, then turn left at Rainbow Bridge to reach the destination. – From Weiguo Avenue, take Jinhuan Highway eastward for 12.5 km, then turn onto Xidadao, connect to the Beijing-Tianjin Expressway, exit at Beitang Toll Station, continue along the service road for 8 km, and arrive at the north side of Yangbei Street in Beitang.

2. By Public Transportation: Take bus routes 133, 459, 461, 462, or 520 and get off at Rainbow Bridge, then walk 100 meters west. Alternatively, take the Jinbin Light Rail to Donghai Road Station and transfer to multiple bus lines for direct access. Or, take bus 459 from Tanggu Railway Station to Rainbow Bridge; fare is 2 RMB.
