Han'gu Martyrs' Cemetery is a classic red tourism destination and a patriotic education base.

Han'gu Martyrs' Cemetery was first built in 1956 and is located on Xin Kai North Road, Han'gu, Binhai New Area, covering an area of 21,000 square meters. It was rebuilt on the original site after the 1976 earthquake and has undergone several renovations and upgrades. The cemetery is a key protected site of revolutionary martyrs' memorial architecture and a national defense education base. In 1994, it was named a Tianjin Patriotic Education Base by the Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government.

Han'gu Martyrs' Cemetery is divided into four areas: the Revolutionary Martyrs' Monument located in the center of the cemetery, the Martyrs' Tomb Area on the west side, the National Defense Education Area on the north side, and the Revolutionary Martyrs' Memorial Hall.

Standing in the center of the cemetery is the Revolutionary Martyrs' Monument, which is 15 meters high and made of granite, inscribed with the gilded words "Eternal Glory to the Revolutionary Martyrs." During major holidays such as Qingming Festival, Youth Day, and National Day, government agencies, enterprises, schools, military personnel stationed in Tianjin, and people from all walks of life come here to hold various commemorative activities.

The Han'gu Martyrs' Cemetery is the final resting place of 120 revolutionary martyrs, including those who sacrificed during the salt workers' guerrilla warfare in the War of Resistance against Japan, those who died liberating Han'gu during the Pingjin Campaign, pilots who died at the Qingdao base during the Korean War, and firefighters from the Tianjin Chemical Factory who lost their lives while extinguishing a fire at Han'gu Railway Station. In the center of the tomb area is the Yangjiabo Battle Memorial Pavilion, built in 1998. Over 50 soldiers were killed and more than 20 injured in the Yangjiabo Battle. The pavilion was erected to honor the fallen soldiers and to inspire future generations.

The Revolutionary Martyrs' Memorial Hall features a 35-meter exhibition line, displaying 20 historical photos, 10 portraits of martyrs, 12 oil paintings, 40 copies of historical letters, and 39 relics of the martyrs. The hall mainly exhibits materials related to the People's Liberation War, with a focus on the heroic deeds of some revolutionary martyrs who sacrificed their lives in the Battle of Tianjin and the liberation of Han'gu.
