Zhangjiadian Site

The Zhangjiadian Site is a cultural heritage protection unit in Ma'anshan.

Zhangjiadian Site: Located about 150 meters southeast of Zhangjiadian Natural Village, Linchuan Administrative Village, Xinshi Town, Bowang District. It dates back to the late Neolithic Age.

On June 5, 2015, the Zhangjiadian Site was designated as one of the fifth batch of municipal-level cultural heritage protection units in Ma'anshan.

Protected area: 5 meters beyond the site itself; Construction control zone: 10 meters beyond the site itself.

Xinshi Town: Xinshi is a key town in the eastern part of Dangtu County, Ma'anshan, adjacent to Nanjing, Wuhu, and Ma'anshan. It lies against Hengshan Mountain to the north and borders Danyang Lake to the south. Provincial Highway 314 runs through the town, and waterways connect directly to the Yangtze River. It is 30 kilometers from Nanjing Lukou International Airport, with convenient land and water transportation. As a vital route from southeastern Anhui to Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Shanghai, the town covers a total area of 74.8 square kilometers, has a population of over 40,000, and includes 1,860 hectares of arable land. Rich in resources, it is a town with great development potential.
