It's cherry blossom season again！ Pink mountain cherries and Kawazu-zakura are in full bloom in New Taipei City

As Lichun arrives, cherry blossoms across various districts in New Taipei City are also blooming in response to the arrival of spring. The New Taipei City Agriculture Bureau stated that traces of cherry blossoms can already be seen at Waterfall Park and Warriors' Square in Wulai District, County Highway 28 in Wanli District, A-Rou-Yang Industrial Road in Shenkeng District, Hongludi in Zhonghe District, Qingshan Road in Sanzhi District, Taiji Ridge in Tucheng District, Datong Mountain in Shulin District, Jingting Station in Pingxi District, Guanyin Platform in Pinglin District, Guanyin Temple on Zhulin Mountain in Linkou District, Quchi Park in Xindian District, Wenshan Farm, and Dajianshan in Xizhi District.

The New Taipei City Agriculture Bureau also recommends two cherry blossom viewing routes. For “family cherry blossom outings,” it is suggested to hike from Tamsui's Hutou Cherry Blossom Avenue to Tamsui Old Street. For “couples cherry blossom outings,” one can stroll from Tamsui's Hutou Cherry Blossom Avenue to Tamsui Fisherman’s Wharf.

The New Taipei City Government will also hold a hiking event on February 7 (Saturday) at Tamsui's Hutou Cherry Blossom Avenue. Friends who are interested are welcome to travel with the cherry blossoms in New Taipei City and enjoy the romantic scenery of falling petals. No prior registration is required. Participants should gather at Puxue Chan Temple in Tamsui District (diagonally opposite FuGe Hotel Tamsui) at 8:00 AM to receive an adventure pass. The route will take hikers through Dengkang Li and Shuxing Li into Hutou Cherry Blossom Avenue. The entire cherry blossom viewing hike will take approximately two hours. Pink mountain cherries will be in full bloom, along with the emergence of pale pink Kawazu-zakura！ (All participants who complete the full route and collect all adventure stamps can exchange for one beautifully crafted cherry blossom bowl at the endpoint. Limited quantities available, while supplies last.)
