Pengtang Bridge

Pengtang Bridge is a cultural heritage protection unit of Ma'anshan.

Pengtang Bridge: Located about 50 meters south of Pengtang Natural Village, Hengshan Administrative Village, Xinxing Town, Bowang District. It dates back to the Ming Dynasty.

On June 5, 2015, Pengtang Bridge was announced as part of the fifth batch of municipal-level cultural heritage protection units in Ma'anshan.

Protection zone: 5 meters outside the structure itself; construction control zone: 10 meters outside the structure itself.

Xinxing Town: Xinxing is a key town in the eastern part of Dangtu County, Ma'anshan, neighboring Nanjing, Wuhu, and Ma'anshan. It lies against Hengshan Mountain to the north and borders Danyang Lake to the south. Provincial Highway 314 runs through the area, and water transport provides direct access to the Yangtze River. It is 30 kilometers from Nanjing Lukou International Airport, boasting convenient land and water transportation. As a vital route from southeastern Anhui to Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Shanghai, the town covers a total area of 74.8 square kilometers, has a population of over 40,000, and includes 1,860 hectares of cultivated land.
