The Sanjia Village Site

The Sanjia Village Site is a cultural heritage protection unit of Ma'anshan City.

The Sanjia Village Site: Located at the former site of the DanYang Health Clinic in Sanjia Natural Village, Jincheng Administrative Village, DanYang Town, Bowang District. It dates back to the Shang and Zhou dynasties.

On July 28, 2017, the Sanjia Village Site was designated as part of the sixth batch of municipal-level cultural heritage protection units in Ma'anshan City.

Protected area: 5 meters beyond the site itself; construction control zone: 10 meters beyond the site itself.

DanYang Town: DanYang Town is under the jurisdiction of Dangtu County, Ma'anshan City, Anhui Province. It is located at the southeastern tip of Anhui, within the Yangtze River Delta economic zone, Nanjing’s one-hour metropolitan area, and the Ma’anshan-Wuhu-Tongling economic zone, bordering Nanjing City, Jiangsu Province. It is a national pilot town for small-town construction and a demonstration town for comprehensive economic development of small towns. The total area of the town is 126.7 square kilometers, covering 12 village committees and 3 neighborhood committees, with a total population of 56,700 and a permanent resident population in the town center of 16,000. It has 53,700 mu of arable land, 24,600 mu of forested land, and 62,000 mu of water area suitable for aquaculture.
