Ma'anshan Museum is a patriotic education base.

Established in 1989, Ma'anshan Museum is a comprehensive local museum integrating the collection, exhibition, research, preservation, and development of cultural relics, housing nearly 10,000 artifacts. The new museum building was completed at the end of 2008, with a total construction area of 11,000 square meters, including an exhibition space of 3,000 square meters. The permanent exhibition "The History and Culture of Ma'anshan" is divided into five sections: Where Wu Meets Chu, Echoes of the Six Dynasties, Land of Extraordinary People, Poetic City of Mountains and Waters, and City of Harmony. Through a wealth of cultural relics, sculptures, paintings, and multimedia displays, it showcases the historical evolution of the Ma'anshan region and the remarkable achievements of contemporary social development. Since its opening, the new museum has hosted temporary exhibitions such as "Exquisite Jade Artifacts Unearthed in Anhui Province" and "Lingjiatan Culture Special Exhibition: Lingering Charm of the Jianghuai Region – Timeless Jade Souls." Additionally, the auxiliary building of the new museum features a 4D cinema, where a historical-themed 4D film titled "Ma'anshan: A Famous City of Eastern Jiang" was produced. This immersive visual experience allows audiences to appreciate the profound historical and cultural heritage as well as the vibrant development of Ma'anshan while enjoying the show. The museum is currently open to the public free of charge.
