Anqing Wuhu Five Thousand Years Cultural Park is a national AAAA-level tourist attraction.

Built strictly to the national 5A-level scenic area standards by Anqing Wuhu Five Thousand Years Cultural Park Investment Co., Ltd., this is an artistic sanctuary that pays homage to Eastern civilization on a global scale — a magnificent creation where Chinese culture harmonizes with nature. It has been designated as a National Cultural Industry Demonstration Base by China’s Ministry of Culture and is currently a national 4A-level tourist attraction.

Centered around the theme of “a cultural park of Chinese heritage,” the park combines classical Huizhou-style architecture with the charm of Suzhou gardens. It features pavilions, terraces, and towers, small bridges over flowing streams, stele corridors, stone carvings, and renowned cultural landscapes, all exuding the spirit of harmony and rich humanistic essence. The cultural classics of China’s five thousand years are displayed and preserved here. The park also integrates multiple functions such as tourism, performances, seminars, leisure, and entertainment. It is divided into three main zones: the Cultural History Zone, the Theme Park Zone, and the Leisure Resort Zone.

The Cultural History Zone covers an area of 600 acres with an investment of 720 million RMB. It comprises attractions such as the Chinese Hundred Crafts Workshop, the Five Thousand Years Cultural Corridor, the Zhao Tailai Museum Complex, the Five Thousand Years Root Carving Garden, the Yan and Huang Emperors, Dragons Soaring Across the World, the Filial Piety Garden, Heaven on Earth, Dragons Dancing and Phoenixes Flying, the International Poetry Grove, the Ancient Tea Horse Road, Great Landscapes, the Four Great Classical Novels Cultural Park, the Chinese Love Culture Park, the Thousand-Meter Ancient Cultural Plank Road, the Wanjiang Garden, and Wanjiang’s First Street — Wan Street.

The Theme Park Zone and the Leisure Resort Zone cover over 600 acres, with a planned investment of 1.08 billion RMB. Currently in the planning phase, they are scheduled to be completed and opened to the public in 2012.

The Theme Park Zone and the Leisure Resort Zone will include attractions such as the 360 Professions Cultural Park, the China Geological Museum Park, the Chinese Farming Culture Art Museum, the Jiangnan Botanical Garden, the Fruit and Vegetable Corridor, ecological science sculpture groups, quality development bases, farming culture experience parks, the Chinese Water Town Culture Park, and the Chinese Nation Tower showcasing the charm of China’s 56 ethnic groups. These areas will fully embody five major functions: tourism, leisure, science education, health and wellness, and life experience.
