Wujin’s West Taihu area is noted for its distinctive landscapes, with an intricate network of rivers, scattered ponds, verdant grass along the Taihu shore, and orderly lines of elm and willow trees. The boundless Taihu waters glisten brightly. In addition to the natural beauty, the region’s millennia-old cultural legacy — including sites like the Chengwan Mountain cave tombs, the ruins of Guishan Academy, the Memorial Temple of Wu Zixu, and the ancient city of Helü — is deeply fascinating. Moreover, the area has a wealth of well-developed tourism resources, such as Xiyou Valley, China Filial Piety Culture Park, Zhushan Lake Town, and the National Dragon Boat Racing Base. Its cultural and historical attractions are truly unique.
