The former site of Baisha Middle School (He Clan Ancestral Hall) is located in Baisha Village, Xiaochi Town, Taihu County, dating back to the Qing Dynasty.

On September 22, 2017, the former site of Baisha Middle School (He Clan Ancestral Hall) was designated as part of the seventh batch of municipal-level cultural heritage protection units in Anqing City.

Xiaochi Town: Located 16 kilometers east of Taihu County, Xiaochi Town is often referred to as the eastern gateway to Taihu. It is traversed by three major transportation arteries: the Hefei-Jiujiang Railway, the Shanghai-Chengdu Expressway, and National Highway 105. The town covers a total area of 126 square kilometers, governs 14 administrative villages, 420 villager groups, and has a total population of 41,800.
