The Taiping Rebellion Site — Jigongzhai is located in Longtanzhai Village, Tangquan Township, Taihu County, dating back to the Qing Dynasty.

On September 22, 2017, the Taiping Rebellion Site — Jigongzhai was designated as one of the seventh batch of municipal-level cultural heritage protection units in Anqing City.

Longtanzhai Village: Section 1 Natural Conditions

I. Geographic Location

Longtanzhai Village in Tangquan Township is situated in the northeastern border area of Taihu County, Anhui Province. It borders Qianshan County to the east, neighbors the mountains and waters of Yuexi County to the north, adjoins Siqian Town of the same county to the south, and lies next to Zhewan Village of the same township to the west. It is a typical area of the Dabie Mountain range, located 17 kilometers from Huating Lake Scenic Area, 40 kilometers from Tianzhu Mountain Scenic Area, and 6 kilometers from the Chiba Highway.

II. Topography and Landform
