The former residence of Liu Wang Liming is located in Mingshan Village, Xincang Town, Taihu County, dating back to the modern era.

On September 22, 2017, the former residence of Liu Wang Liming was designated as part of the seventh batch of municipal-level cultural heritage protection units in Anqing City.

Xincang Town: Located in the southeastern part of the county, Xincang Town was formed by the merger of the former Huayuan Township and Xincang Town. It borders the county seat to the west, and neighbors Huaining County to the east and Wangjiang County to the south. It serves as a transportation hub for Taihu, Wangjiang, Huaining, and Qianshan counties, and is one of the key commercial and passenger hubs in southwestern Anhui. Covering a total area of 161 square kilometers, it has a population of 73,000 and administers 16 administrative villages, making it an important town in the southeastern part of Taihu County.

The area is crisscrossed with rivers, features fertile soil and a mild climate, which are highly suitable for crop cultivation.
