The Hall of the Golden Pagoda with Ten Thousand Buddhas is built in the architectural style of a Thai royal palace. The pagoda's interior and exterior house 9,999 golden Buddha statues, and when combined with the shape of the structure itself, they form the likeness of a single Buddha, hence the name "Hall of the Golden Pagoda with Ten Thousand Buddhas."

The interior of the hall is paved with golden bricks, presenting a dazzling and majestic sight. At its center stands a golden stupa with 21 Kṣitigarbha Bodhisattva statues, arranged in three tiers to create the spectacular sight of a pagoda within a pagoda. There is also an ivory micro-carving 3.5 meters long, depicting the “Along the River During the Qingming Festival,” 500 Arhats, and an 80,000-character scripture. Additionally, there is a grand edition (out-of-print) of the “Two Thousand Years of Chinese Buddhism” and displays of numerous first-class national Buddhist relics.

In the square of the Hall of the Golden Pagoda with Ten Thousand Buddhas stands the largest jade reclining Buddha in China, measuring 2 meters in height, 6 meters in length, and weighing 16 tons. It is carved from a single piece of Burmese jade. The Buddha statue is inlaid with gems, pearls, and agates, and depicts the “Repose of the Buddha” (also known as the “Nirvana Pose”) of Shakyamuni.
