Agricultural High-Tech Demonstration Park

The Zhejiang Agricultural High-Tech Demonstration Park is located in Xiaoshan District, Hangzhou. It is a large-scale high-tech agricultural demonstration park invested in by the renowned private enterprise Zhejiang Transtion Group, with an investment of 500 million RMB. Covering a total area of 5,000 mu, it is currently the largest and most technologically advanced park in Zhejiang Province.

The park operates under a management mechanism supported by the government, backed by relevant departments, run as a business, and benefiting farmers. It is managed by Zhejiang Transtion Jiangnan Land Development Co., Ltd. Guided by the construction principles of “agriculture throughout the park, tourism throughout the park, and ecology throughout the park,” the park adopts a large-scale integrated operation model as its basic production method. With seed and seedling engineering as its leading industry, agricultural industrialization as its main pillar, and modern agricultural technology-equipped horticultural, facility-based, and factory-style production as its primary means, the park focuses on science and technology-driven, eco-friendly, and labor-intensive agriculture, supplemented by various forms such as sightseeing agriculture, leisure agriculture, and foreign exchange-generating agriculture. It serves as a highly modernized, multifunctional “century park” that achieves harmony between humans and nature, and deep integration with urban life. The park acts as an effective demonstration base showcasing modern agricultural production models, rural economic development and management practices, and farmer livelihoods—serving as a platform to explore solutions to China’s “three rural issues.”
