Zhong Ama Martyrs' Cemetery is a cultural relic protection unit of Hangzhou City.

Zhong Ama Martyrs' Cemetery is conveniently located by the Yunxu Highway, at the foot of Chadun Mountain near Foshan Village. Facing south, it is backed by undulating hills and shaded by lush pines and cypresses, adding to the solemn and respectful atmosphere of the cemetery. The entire memorial site has been significantly expanded from the original burial ground.

Zhong Ama was a well-known leader and commander of the Southern Bamboo Cutting Uprising, which gained fame throughout the province. He once served as the Party Branch Secretary of Shangbao, a member of the Xiaoshan County Committee of the Chinese Communist Party, the captain of the "Iron Blood Corps"—a local armed peasant organization in the southern region—and the overall commander of the Southern Bamboo Cutting Uprising. After the uprising failed, Zhong Ama was unfortunately captured and was executed heroically at the foot of Zhishan Mountain in Linpu on August 30, 1930.

After the liberation, the Party and government allocated funds multiple times to renovate Zhong Ama’s martyrs’ tomb, later designating it as a patriotic education base for Xiaoshan District. The martyrs’ cemetery was further expanded to provide the public with a more comprehensive facility for patriotic education.

Zhong Ama (1894–1930) was a native of Shangbao, Yunshi Township, Xiaoshan (now Foshan Village). Coming from a poor family, he worked in a papermaking workshop (a local pulp mill) with his father from a young age. In the first half of 1927, under the leadership of the Communist Party, Zhong Ama united impoverished peasants to establish the Shangbao Peasants' Association. In the autumn of the same year, he joined the Chinese Communist Party and became the Party Branch Secretary of Shangbao Village. In early 1928, to protect the Peasants' Association, he formed an armed peasant group called the "Iron Blood Corps," serving as its captain.
