Erqiao Study

Erqiao Study is a cultural relic protection unit of Zhejiang Province.

Erqiao Study is located in Jinhua Town, Xiaoshan District, Hangzhou, and dates back to the Qing Dynasty.

Built in the mid-Qing period, it is the only surviving Qing-era study house in Xiaoshan.

The entire structure of Erqiao Study is a courtyard-style building made of brick and wood. The main hall faces south with its back to the north, and the entrance gate faces east, bearing the inscription “Erqiao Study.” Below the engraved lintel of “Erqiao Study” is a stone-carved door frame, which features exquisitely detailed carvings. This rare Qing-era private school holds unique historical and scientific research value.

On January 13, 2017, it was designated as part of the seventh batch of Cultural Relic Protection Units of Zhejiang Province by the Zhejiang Provincial People's Government.

Huan Tan Village: Huan Tan Village is the largest village in Jinhua Town, covering an area of 14,562 mu. It has a population of 3,097 and 36 villager groups. The village includes 1,268 mu of farmland and 12,900 mu of forested land.
