The towering cliff waterfall within the scenic area, resembling snowflakes due to its hundred-meter height, is named Snowflake Waterfall for its majestic presence and thunderous roar.

To the north of Snowflake Waterfall lies the uniquely shaped "Dragon Tongue Waterfall": beneath a towering ancient tree sits a massive rock resembling a dragon’s tongue, from which crystal-clear mountain spring water cascades down the upturned tip, sparkling like pearls in the sunlight—hence it is also known as the "Dragon Tongue Pearl Spray." The area also features ancient architectural complexes such as the Shisi Temple, built in the 10th year of the Shaoxing era during the Song Dynasty. Liu Bowen inscribed the gate plaque with the words "Shisi Tao Chao." The surviving structures include the Mahavira Hall, the Three Pure Ones Hall, and the Heart Sutra Bell Tower. All are built with arch-and-bracket construction, showcasing elegant aesthetics, with pillars and beams each exceeding one person’s embrace in girth. It is a National Key Cultural Relics Protection Unit.

Beside the temple stands a thousand-year-old cryptomeria tree, hollowed out by lightning, which can accommodate over 20 people. With a chest diameter of 4.47 meters, it is the largest of its kind in China.

The area is home to Shangshantou, the highest peak in Jingning County at an elevation of 1,689 meters, covered with thousands of acres of Rhododendron simiarum.

A provincial-level scenic spot, located over 40 kilometers southwest of the county seat, situated in a high mountain basin at an altitude of 1,600 meters. The terrain features undulating hills and picturesque farmland and villages, surrounded by steep ridges that rise like cloud ladders into the sky. Climbing them feels like stepping into another world beyond the heavens, hence it has long been called the "Three Layers of Heaven."

Accommodation: Meifeng Small Guesthouse costs 50 RMB per day, with decent bathroom and shower facilities but no air conditioning. Next to Snowflake Waterfall, there is the "Longgu Xianfeng" lodge, contact: 0578-5066398. Transportation: Buses from Jingning to Da?T (Daji) run three times daily at 8:10, 12:10, and 14:10; buses from Da?T back to Jingning also run three times daily at 6:00, 9:00, and 12:40. It takes about two hours to reach Da?T, with round-trip tickets priced at 30 RMB.
