Zhuobi Peak

Zhuobi Peak was one of the ancient Ten Scenic Spots of Dongxi Rock, located to the north of Chishi Tower. Towering dozens of meters high, it resembles either a bamboo shoot thrusting out of the earth or a colossal sky-piercing brush, as if carving the vast blue sky.

An ancient poet once praised it: “It does not inscribe seal scripts on sunlit sands, but rather writes upon the geese-scraped sky. No matter its herculean might, it grasps the beam of a tiger’s cub.” If you look up at Zhuobi Peak from Qingfeng Gorge, it also resembles a mother embracing her child, hence people also call it Mother-and-Child Peak.
