Jiulong Sketching Base

The Lishui Jiulong Barbizon Sketching and Creation Base, located at Jiulong, Bihu, Lishui City, Zhejiang Province (formerly Pingyuan Middle School), covers an area of over 10,000 square meters and includes expert buildings, teachers' buildings, and student dormitories. The base features a dedicated large studio space that can be used for painting critiques, meetings, and indoor creation.

The Lishui Jiulong Barbizon Sketching and Creation Base is an officially designated sketching base of the Lishui Artists Association. The sketching spots are very close to the living quarters—just a five- to six-minute walk to choose scenes for creation—while also being far from road traffic, ensuring safety. The student accommodation area adopts a campus-style management system with fencing for security. Student dormitories are equipped with private bathrooms, air conditioning, TVs, and hot water supply all year round. Teachers are accommodated in standard rooms.

The base also includes facilities such as a basketball court, billiards center, and reading room at Jiulong, Bihu, Lishui City, Zhejiang Province (formerly Pingyuan Middle School), allowing students to enjoy a healthy and enriching recreational life outside of sketching.
