The Shangshu Archway is a Ming Dynasty structure. Located in Fanjia Village, Hejia Township, Changshan County, Quzhou City, Zhejiang Province, it was erected in honor of Fan Ying, who served as the Minister of Punishments in Nanjing. This archway is a four-pillar, three-bay, five-story wooden structure with an overall height of 6.50 meters and a total width of 6.25 meters. Its pillars are spindle-shaped, and the stone columns are tall. The wooden plaque is carved with the inscription “Shangshu” (Minister) and includes marginal inscriptions such as “Reconstructed in the 35th year of the Jiajing reign of the Great Ming (1546),” “Reconstructed in the 16th year of the Qianlong reign (1751),” and “Fan Ying, the 10th-place scholar of the Zhejiang region in the □□ Bingzi Year,” among others. The central bay features two ornamental clusters resembling lingzhi mushrooms, short columns inserted into the arches with three upward curves adorned with maple-shaped brackets, and column bases carved with upward-facing lotus motifs. The lower eaves of the side bays have three-curved bracket sets with clearly defined arch petals.

On August 11, 1986, the county government designated it as a county-level cultural relic protection unit.

In 1994, the county cultural relics department carried out a comprehensive restoration of the archway.

In November 2008, the Changshan County Cultural Relics Management Committee Office conducted another full-scale restoration of the Shangshu Archway, restoring its historical appearance.

On January 7, 2011, the provincial government listed it as part of the sixth batch of provincial-level cultural relic protection units.
