The Yanqian Republican-era Architectural Complex is located in Xinchang Township, Changshan County, dating back to the Republican era.

On January 13, 2017, it was designated as part of the seventh batch of Zhejiang Provincial Cultural Relics Protection Units by the People's Government of Zhejiang Province.

Xinchang Township: Xinchang Township is situated in the northeast of Changshan County, with its township government based in Xinchang, approximately 20.5 kilometers from the county seat. It borders Furong Township to the east, Fangcun Town to the south, Donglu to the west, and adjoins Kaihua County to the north. The area covers 68.06 square kilometers. It governs 20 administrative villages, 81 natural villages, 3,772 households, and a population of 13,983. The region enjoys a mild and humid climate year-round, with distinct seasons and abundant rainfall.
