Lakeside Water Park

Lakeside Water Park is a national AAA-level tourist attraction.

Lakeside Water Park is a large-scale outdoor amusement project jointly invested in by Chinese and foreign partners. Nestled against mountains and beside water, it covers an area of approximately 100,000 square meters and is located

on the west side of the auxiliary lake of Yanqi Lake in Huairou, a picturesque destination. It is currently the newest large water park in the Beijing area. Its architectural design and interior decoration are all themed around the Caribbean style, featuring ingenious designs that fill the entire park with a rich tropical ambiance, giving visitors a refreshing and unique experience.

Excellent water quality is a standout feature of Lakeside Water Park. The park uses water from the same sources as the 1992 and 1996 Olympic Games. Designed and constructed under the full guidance of Canadian Whitewater, the company behind Disney’s water parks, Lakeside Water Park has imported all its major equipment from Europe and America. With advanced facilities and a comprehensive range of attractions, it can accommodate up to 15,000 visitors at once. Key water play facilities include: Ronda Surf Beach (Wave Pool) – covering an area of about 3,000 square meters with 8 types of waves that are generated every 15 minutes, allowing visitors to enjoy splashing fun in the waves during the hot summer; Gamma River Slides – consisting of four 140-meter-long single-person slides, with a height difference of 14 meters from the starting platform to the pool, offering thrilling and challenging fun; Bahamas Tube Slides – made up of four 160-meter-long double-person slides, with a height difference of 18 meters from the starting platform to the pool; and the Amesons Lazy River – stretching approximately 450 meters. The Caribbean Island, located within the Amesons Lazy River, features key water attractions such as Amesons Beach, play pools, Kids’ Paradise, whirlpool pools, and massage pools, making it a leisure and play area specially designed for children and families.

The park offers comprehensive services to guests, with auxiliary facilities including five differently styled Chinese and Western fast-food restaurants, a gift shop, a picnic area, and an emergency center. The picnic area spans approximately 10,000 square meters and includes multiple large, medium, and small picnic shelters. The emergency center is staffed with professional doctors and nurses ready to assist guests at any time. The park’s lifeguard team consists entirely of certified professionals who provide round-the-clock monitoring. Lakeside Water Park operates on an all-inclusive ticket system.

The swimming venue uses advanced filtration equipment that performs 24-hour circulation, filtration, and disinfection.
