Huiseng Green Picking Garden

Huiseng Green Picking Garden is located in Jiuduhé Town, Huairou District, in the suburbs of Beijing, on the north bank of the Huaijiu River and south of Huaisi Road. It is 20 kilometers from downtown Huairou and enjoys convenient transportation. It neighbors multiple scenic spots: to the west are the Ming Tombs and Iron Wall Silver Mountain; to the north are the Ancient Great Wall and Little West Lake; to the southeast are Hongluo Temple, Yanqi Lake, and other attractions. Its unique geographical environment and location have made it a comprehensive enterprise integrating entertainment, leisure, vacation, dining, accommodation, breeding, fishing, picking, and sightseeing, fully reflecting a rustic charm.

The garden was established in August 2001. It currently has fixed assets of 7.8 million yuan, covers an area of 100 mu, and employs 80 staff members, making it one of the top three service enterprises in the region. In 2004, it received 60,000 visitors, sold 50,000 kilograms of fresh apricots, 10,000 kilograms of plums and cherries, 10,000 kilograms of peaches and pears, 80,000 kilograms of cold-water fish, and achieved a total income of 10 million yuan.

Nestled amid lush mountains and clear waters, the garden is a tourism, vacation, and fishing base built leveraging the original terrain. It is mainly divided into:

1. Dining and Accommodation Department. Covering 18 mu, it includes a comprehensive building of 1,700 square meters that meets star-rated standards, featuring two meeting rooms, one OK lounge, and facilities for 100 people to dine, stay, hold meetings, and enjoy entertainment. There is also a large parking lot and scenic walking paths for visitors.

2. Breeding Department. Covering 24 mu, its main highlight is the breeding of pollution-free fish using mountain spring water. The main species include over ten types such as sturgeon, rainbow trout, golden trout, and salmon. It offers fishing and barbecue activities for visitors.

3. Picking Garden. Covering 50 mu, it features over ten varieties including cherries, fresh apricots, plums, duck pears, hawthorn, walnuts, and persimmons. In 2004, the picking garden introduced five new varieties such as jujubes and sour pears, welcoming visitors with high-quality service and reliable, premium fruits.

The garden strictly adheres to national standards in management and was rated as a Beijing Huairou District Agricultural Standardized Production Demonstration Base at the end of 2003.
