Moganshan Sky Bridge

A bamboo path from the Waterfall Viewing Pavilion leads to the Sky Bridge. It can also be reached by climbing the steps on the right side of the Moyu Highway.

The Sky Bridge spans across a stream, with one end connected to the bamboo path that goes uphill into the deep bamboo forest, and the other end linking to a downward stone staircase. The staircase is fairly steep, winding down for over ten meters, beyond which lies another small pool and a modest flower bed. On days when heavy fog envelops the area, looking from the flower bed, the mist drowns everything out, leaving only the bridge faintly visible. With the sky and clouds blending into one, the little bridge appears as if it’s floating in the heavens — this is likely the origin of its name, the “Sky Bridge.”

A few steps down from the left side of the Sky Bridge stands a pavilion with green tiles and red pillars. Within a compact space, the area is divided into three levels: descending from the Sky Bridge, passing the small pavilion, and reaching the flower bed — yet it doesn’t feel cramped at all. A few banana trees are planted by the small pool, and the tiny flower bed is home to seasonal blooms. From top to bottom, the elements blend seamlessly, showcasing rather ingenious landscaping.
