Lishui Suichang · Nanjianyan Scenic Area Glass Walkway
Lishui’s first glass observation walkway
This glass walkway is 100 meters long, situated halfway up the cliff on the mountainside of Nanjianyan Scenic Area, with open views above and below. Just take the first brave step, and you’ll be immersed in nature’s breathtaking craftsmanship.
Leaning on the railing of the glass walkway and gazing into the distance at the ethereal mountain scenery is like entering a fairy-tale world. Even more magical is that every spot along the mountain tour offers a constantly changing view.
The glass walkway wraps around Wenbi Peak. From the walkway, Tianzhu Peak looks close enough to touch — it’s a massive iconic rock formation formed by vertical joint fracturing. Its shape resembles a bamboo shoot breaking through the earth, and locals often call it “Stone Bamboo Shoot Head.” Qianzhang Rock, on the other hand, is a huge cliff face opposite Tianzhu Peak, with its top at an elevation of 1,150 meters. Nearly 90 degrees steep and smooth as glass.
Here you’ll find sea of clouds, bizarre rocks, and flowing waterfalls in the mountains… When you’re in the scenic area, surrounded by towering peaks and rugged cliffs, and look down to see terraced fields stretching into the distance, is this the kind of view you’ve been dreaming of?

Shaoxing Xinchang · Feilong Skywalk
Be a carefree swordsman from the martial world
The Nineteen Peaks are one of China’s most spectacular Danxia landform landscapes. As soon as you enter the scenic area, you’ll be reminded of the banks of Guilin’s Li River. It combines the “elegance of Guilin, the beauty of the Li River, and the wonder of Yandang Mountain,” all in one. The steep terrain, towering cliffs, and astonishingly perilous paths will leave you in awe. Perhaps it’s because two of Jin Yong’s famous novels, “The Legend of the Condor Heroes” and “The Return of the Condor Heroes,” were filmed here that the landscape also carries an air of martial heroism.
A visit to the Nineteen Peaks isn’t complete without walking along the longest aerial walkway in southern China — the Feilong Skywalk. Starting at Shediao Thatched Cottage, leaping over the Dragon Gate, and ending at Longxian Waterfall, it soars like a dragon in the sky and coils around the mountain like a cloud dragon. Walking along it is both heart-stopping and magnificent. It mainly consists of three parts: an ancient wooden walkway, an aerial glass walkway, and the Feilong Sky Bridge. At an altitude of about 200 meters, the total length is 3,200 meters, making it the longest aerial walkway in Zhejiang Province. The suspension bridge is 150 meters high and over 130 meters long.
The scenic area reopened on April 15, adding a new cliffside skywalk and 3D Feilong paintings. However, daily visitor capacity is limited.

Longquan Mountain, Lishui · Thousand-Meter Plank Walk
Cliffside Wonders That Rival Huangshan
As the “Highest Peak in Jiangsu and Zhejiang,” the height of Longquan Mountain is definitely not to be overlooked. In its most important cliffside scenic zone — featuring grotesque rocks and ancient pines — three words sum it up: thrilling, perilous, and spectacular. Towering cliffs rise to the sky, and thousands of ancient pines grow right from the rock faces. Truly, every step brings thrills, and everywhere offers stunning views. The pine trees here, whether in quantity, age, posture, or growing environment, are no less impressive than those on Huangshan.

To allow visitors to enjoy the most beautiful views from the best vantage points, the generous management built a plank walkway over 1,000 meters long atop the cliffs. So rest assured — these cliffside plank walks are the best spots to take in the mist, rime, and snow-covered pines of Longquan Mountain.

Yandang Mountain, Wenzhou · High-Altitude Rope Bridge
Laced with an Unfading Ethereal Aura
Xu Xiake once said: “To fully appreciate the beauty of Yandang Mountain, one must be a celestial being.” This place that even Xu Xiake was captivated by is Yandang Mountain. Originating in the Tang Dynasty and flourishing in the Song Dynasty, it boasts numerous bizarre peaks, caves, and waterfalls hidden within its emerald mountains and clear waters, scattered across the landscape. Fangdong Tianhu (Square Cave Sky Lake) is a magnificent scenic spot in Yandang Mountain. The 1,100-meter journey from Fangdong via the plank walkway to Yangtian Lake is filled with peculiar rocks, caves, and waterfalls, forming a pristine ink-painting-like landscape with the nearby peaks.
Fangdong gets its name from its slightly square-shaped cave. At the cave entrance lies a hundred-meter-long plank walkway called “Silver Cliff Corridor” — it’s not a tunnel through the mountain, but rather a recess in the cliff face. The unique iron cable bridge of Yandang Mountain is said to bring everlasting love to those who cross it hand-in-hand with their beloved. Walking along these jagged cliffs, every plant and tree seems to exude an unfading ethereal aura. Up close, you see cliffs and caves everywhere; looking afar, you take in layers upon layers of peaks — an overwhelming feast for the eyes.
Admission:The scenic area combo ticket is 200 RMB/adult, or you can purchase tickets separately.
Address:Beside the Baifu Line, Yandang Mountain, Yueqing City, Wenzhou
Hangzhou Lin’an · Daming Mountain Aerial Walkway
A Secret Path to a Fairyland
The suspended walkway floats in the clouds, clinging to the sheer cliffs of the mountain with no support beneath — just a bottomless abyss below. With an average altitude of over 1,000 meters and a length of 1,200 meters, it ranks among the top in China in terms of both length and construction difficulty.
Walking along this secret path to fairyland offers a panoramic view of Daming Mountain. Previously hidden perilous spots come into full view, the graceful Seven Peaks of Mingfei stand elegantly, and the majestic peaks of Nanshan Fairyland soar into the sky. The walkway spanning the cliff resembles a rainbow bridging the heavens or a coiling dragon lying across the gorge. Surrounded by endless sea of clouds, standing above yawning valleys, and beneath towering peaks, you’ll be filled with the feeling of “gazing afar with boundless joy.”
